How did your prints develop?

I actually did really enjoy making my print as i really liked that i was able to create a sort of 3d quite textured surface to then turn in into a 2d print that i felt actually was quite good at conveying this sort of 3d texture, i could have definitely loved to have played around with creating different versions of this as to be honest i was not tooo happy with the print that i had created but i do really like the idea and feel that with a couple more trys and some more interesting textures added that i would be able to gain a print that i would be happy with, i just need to give myself more time next time perhaps as i feel that i was expecting it to be just the one made and i would be satisfied with that but i think that trial and error of the final print would have really helped me to develop this print to a stage that i love.

how did you respond to feedback?

to be honest i did not get a great deal of feedback from this work, perhaps this is because i didnt present my work very confidently. i feel that with this project i was very happy with my collage work as i really liked to play around with them and just create interesting shapes and patterns but i do think that i could have excelled abit more when it came to integrating new ideas and trying to intertwine a new piece of information as i feel looking back at my work and then to my outcomes that i really tended to stick and push work that i did at the beginning and i feel that maybe if i had tried harder to integrate these new ideas that i would be able to develop more interesting ideas for my outcomes to them be of a higher quality/further developed and original.

Did you successfully create a repeat?

yes i was able to create a repeat with my print which i found to be really nice although i did kind of appreciate my work in just its single form as i really feel that you were able to understand and see clearly all the textures and different materials used it then i also quite liked the idea of that texture getting lost and it appearing to be just a somewhat average tartan print with you only being able to notice the abnormality of it once looking closely.

Where could you take these prints/how could they develop into garments?

i think that i really enjoy my print as it is so i think that if it were to be turned into a garments i would be quite happy with a simpler shape for my outcome, i also feel that my print could become very interesting with certain parts cut out which. i could then place body parts through to get a nice body shape, but i also think that my print would be really interesting to have repeated but also still textured, so not necessarily done digitally but with the materials just on a larger/ more repeated scale.
